Rich Standeven is Timberland Portfolio Manager for Cogent Partners. Rich's responsibilities include developing the timber investment strategy, including identifying potential properties, due diligence on potential acquisitions, structuring transactions, and managing investments. Rich has worked in the Forestry business for more than 30 years. Rich was previously at Temple-Inland where he was responsible for improving overall per-acre cash performance of the forest portfolio through timberland acquisitions, dispositions and trades. Rich has a Masters in Forestry and an MBA from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Bachelors of Science in Forestry from the University of Missouri.
